What is covid-19?

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered novel coronavirus.

Coronavirus disease(COVID-19) affects different people in different ways. Most of the infected people will develop mild symptoms to moderate symptoms. COVID-19 common symptoms are: - Fever. Tiredness. Dry cough. Some of the infected people may experience: - Aches and pains, Nasal congestion, Runny nose, Sore throat, Diarrhea.

Approximately 80% of total confirmed cases of infected person from novel coronavirus (COVID-19) are recovered without any serious complications or difficulties. But, one out of every six people who gets infected from COVID-19 get in the critical conditions and develops complications in breathing.

How does COVID-19 spread?

The COVID-19 is spread when an infected person contacts with a healthy person and mainly due to the droplets produced by coughing or sneezing of a COVID-19 infected person.

The COVID-19 infection is also spread by being in close contact with COVID-19 infected patients within one meter of the infected person, especially the people who do not have covered their face while coughing or sneezing.

The COVID-19 is spread in this way also the droplets produced by coughing or sneezing of a COVID-19 infected person survive on surfaces and clothes for many days. Therefore, touching any such infected surface or cloth and then touching one’s mouth, nose or eyes can transmit the disease.

The people who is infected by this COVID-19 infection and who doesn’t show serious symptoms can also spread this disease.
